CMB 42 will provide quiet, positive stopping
power for all types of demanding terrain and punishing multi-stop service.
A semi-metallic block, CMM 46, is installed on the cam end, and the anchor
is a newly formulated organic product that is designed especially to complement
the semi-metallic cam block. Heat dissipation, frictional stability, and
good drum compatibility are the three areas that this friction combination
will exhibit superior performance and stopping power. This CMB 42 combination
will certify on typical OEM axles at 23,000 lbs. G.A.W.R. using a 180 or
165 AL factor.
